IPL Photofacial
An IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) Photofacial is a non-invasive skin treatment that uses light energy to target and correct various skin concerns, including sun damage, pigmentation, redness, and fine lines. This advanced treatment stimulates collagen production, helping to improve skin tone and texture for a brighter, more youthful complexion.

How It Works:
IPL technology delivers broad-spectrum light into the skin, targeting pigment and vascular imperfections. The heat energy breaks down excess melanin and damaged blood vessels, allowing the body to naturally eliminate them. Over time, this process reveals clearer, smoother skin.
Benefits of IPL Photofacial:
- Reduces Sun Damage & Pigmentation
- Evens Skin Tone
- Stimulates Collagen Production
- Treats Acne & Reduces Pore Size
Who Can Benefit?
IPL Photofacial is ideal for those with uneven skin tone, sun damage, redness, or mild aging concerns. However, it is most effective on lighter skin tones and may not be suitable for darker complexions.
Results & Aftercare:
After treatment, the skin may appear slightly red, similar to a mild sunburn, but this typically subsides within a few hours. Dark spots may darken before flaking off in a few days, revealing brighter, more even skin. To maintain results, avoid sun exposure and use SPF 30+ daily.
Transform your skin with IPL Photofacial – a safe, effective way to restore your natural glow!
Before, During & After
What to Expect
The first step is your free consultation.
Before Treatment
To prepare for an IPL Photofacial, avoid direct sun exposure, tanning beds, and self-tanners for at least two weeks before your session. Discontinue the use of retinoids, AHAs, BHAs, and exfoliating treatments 3–5 days prior. Keep your skin clean and free of makeup, lotions, and perfumes on the day of your appointment. If you have an active tan, open wounds, or are using certain medications, consult your provider before treatment.
During Treatment
A cooling gel is applied to the skin, and you’ll be given protective eyewear. The IPL device emits pulses of broad-spectrum light, targeting pigmentation and redness while stimulating collagen production. You may feel a mild snapping or warm sensation, similar to a rubber band flick, but most clients find it comfortable and well-tolerated. The session typically lasts 20–45 minutes, depending on the treatment area.
After Treatment
Mild redness and warmth, similar to a light sunburn, are common and usually subside within a few hours. Dark spots may temporarily darken and flake off over the next 7–10 days, revealing clearer skin. Avoid sun exposure, wear SPF 30+ daily, and use gentle skincare products. Refrain from hot showers, exfoliation, or harsh treatments for at least a week to allow your skin to heal properly. For best results, multiple sessions may be recommended.
